Who We Are

Working Artist is a community of artists and creatives working across disciplines. We’ve banded together to celebrate each others’ work, collaborate, and share resources to make our lives a little easier in these trying times. Working Artist rounds up tailored wisdom related to strengthening financial literacy, navigating the job market, finding affordable and stable housing, accessing healthcare, and so much more in one home. In addition to our resource hub, we publish candid interviews, rollicking money diaries, and writing that provides a window into what it’s like to be a working artist today. Working Artist was founded by Elizabeth Meyer in 2024 and welcomes a growing team of young, hungry creatives including Matthew Kaplan, Isabella Gucci, Themis Kung, Kate Meadows, and Harrison He.
